“These two events belong together. We have been in close contact with NürnbergMesse since 2008. We were very interested in intensifying the focus on heat pumps and concentrating activities in one place. Nürnberg is ideal for this,” says Karl-Heinz Stawiarski, Managing Director of the Bundesverband Wärmepumpe. “The heat pump will become more important in Germany and Europe if both events take place at the same time in Nürnberg,” Stawiarski continues.
Richard Krowoza, Member of the Management Board of NürnbergMesse, is equally delighted: “We are very pleased about the decision and will give the 9th Heat Pump Forum and BWP a warm welcome and a professional environment in Nürnberg.”

The Bundesverband Wärmepumpe is an industry association with headquarters in Berlin and covers the whole value creation chain. The members of BWP include some 650 craft tradesmen, planners and architects, plus drilling firms, the heating industry and energy utilities that support the increased use of efficient heat pumps. Our members employ around 5,000 people in the heat pump sector and achieve revenues of over 1.5billion euros. 95per cent of the German heat pump manufacturers, around 45 energy utilities and approx. 500 craft firms and planners are currently members of the Bundesverband Wärmepumpe.
