Assoz. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Fabian Ochs works at University of Innsbruck, Unit Energy Efficient Building since 2009. Heat researches and teaches in the field of Building Physics, HVAC and Renewable Energies with a focus on heat pumps and renovation. He is contract professor at Free University of Bolzano/University of Trento since 2012. He received his Master Degree in Energy Engineering from the Technical University of Berlin in 2002 and obtained his PhD in 2009 at the Institute of Thermodynamics and Thermal Engineering of the University of Stuttgart ("Modelling Large Scale Thermal Energy Stores"). In 2002 he received the "Otto F. Scharr-Preis für Energietechnik". He habilitated in 2023 at University of Innsbruck (“A Contribution to Total Building Modelling – from Component to District Level”).
