Danny Günther

Research Associate / Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy Systems

As a business engineer Danny Günther has been a research associate and project manager at Fraunhofer ISE since 2009 and is head of the team "Heat Pumps and Transformation of the Building Stock". One focus of his work so far has been the analysis of heat pumps in the single-family house sector based on field measurement data within the research projects "WP-Effizienz", "WP im Gebäudebestand", "WP-Monitor", "WPsmart im Bestand" and the currently running project "WP-QS im Bestand". Most recently, Mr. Günther led the project "HEAVEN" in which the heat sources ground and outdoor air for existing multi-family houses were to be combined appropriately through the development of heat source hydraulics and control.
