PhD Benjamin Zühlsdorf

Benjamin Zühlsdorf is working in the field of heat pumps for industry and district heating, thermal energy systems and electrification of industrial systems at the Center for Refrigeration and Heat Pump Technologies at the Danish Technological Institute. He holds a PhD about zeotropic working fluids in heat pumps from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) and has since then been participating in and coordinating national and international R&D projects. The main focus of the R&D projects lies on digitalization and model-based design and operation, as well as on high-temperature heat pumps. Benjamin Zühlsdorf is furthermore coordinating Annex 58 about high-temperature heat pumps as part of the Technology Collaboration Programme on Heat Pumping Technologies within the IEA.
