Prof. Carsten Wemhöner

Prof. Carsten Wemhöner, OST Carsten Wemhöner graduated in mechanical engineering at RWTH Aachen, Germany. Since 2012 he is working as professor for building and energy technologies at the OST Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences in Rapperswil, Switzerland. In his career he chaired different international research and development projects, including different Annex projects in the IEA Technology Collaboration Programme on Heat Pumping Technologies (HPT). He also contributed to the CEN standardisation in the frame of the European Energy Performance of Buildings Directive EPBD. His present research is related to heat pumps, system integration, high performance buildings and energy-efficient technologies for the built environment.
