Dr. Lorenzo Pistocchini

Research fellow / Politecnico di Milano University

I was born in Italy in 1973 and graduated in mechanical engineering at Politecnico di Milano in 1999. I worked for some manufacturing companies and for an NGO in Albania and Ukraine. In 2008 I got a MSc in “Renewable Energy Systems Technology” at the Loughborough University (UK), and I came back to Politecnico di Milano to work as a researcher at the Department of Energy. Here, in 2015, I got a Ph.D. in Energy and Nuclear Science and Technology, by developing a novel adsorption system for air dehumidification. Since then I focused my research activity on absorption heat pumps and chillers.
