Press releases about European Heat Pump Summit

September 2017
High-calibre congress programme and top exhibitors
  • Four questions for Daniela Heinkel, Senior Manager European HeatPump Summit, NürnbergMesse
The fifth European Heat Pump Summit – powered by Chillventa – will take place on 24-25 October 2017. Daniela Heinkel, Senior Manager European Heat Pump Summit, offers a brief look ahead at this top-level event.

What can participants in this year’s European Heat Pump Summit look forward to?

“Heat pump experts from around the world can once again look forward to a top-quality congress programme on the use of commercial and industrial heat pumps and detailed descriptions of the various applications. Other key aspects will be the markets in Europe and around the world. More than 30 prominent German and international speakers will be available to answer questions about the status quo and the future of the heat pump, including information about the latest trends in the European heat pump market. Members of the IEA Programme on Heat Pumping Technologies will also report on results from ongoing projects with heat pumps in connection with zero net-energy buildings, Smart Grids and hybrid heat pumps. In addition, model-based design developments and system solutions for installation and commissioning will be on display, along with gas-powered systems and combinations using solar heating. Simultaneous translation (German-English) will be provided for all lectures. The equally high-quality Foyer Expo will accompany the congress.”

What sets the European Heat Pump Summit apart?

“The European Heat Pump Summit 2017 invites all experts to share know-how, discuss research outcomes and garner information about new trends and developments. The summit is one of THE events in Europe on the subject of heat pumps. The event has become established as a fascinating balance between a specialised, professional congress and top-level Foyer Expo, and an opportunity to expand your international network. We expect the ‘heat pumps highlight’ will once again draw more than 200 participants to Nuremberg this autumn.”

Who will benefit from visiting the Foyer Expo?

“Every participant will find the Foyer Expo worthwhile. It will round out the congress on a high note. It offers a relaxed opportunity to inspect the product presentations by prominent component and heat pump manufacturers and professional associations from within Germany and abroad. It will be very easy to have a professional discussion with company representatives and expand your personal network; the same opportunity will also be available at the get-together on the first day of the exhibition, immediately following the lectures.”

Which companies will be participating in the European Heat Pump Summit this year?

“We are very happy to have so many major players in the industry as exhibitors and sponsors. That shows how important this event is. This year’s exhibitors and sponsors include Alfa Laval, Bitzer, Buderus, Chemours, Danfoss, ebm-papst, Emerson, Glen Dimplex, Snowman, Tecumseh, Vaillant and Ziehl Abegg.”
