Measures to protect participants
Personal networking? A sure thing!
The HERE wins! We are very pleased to welcome you again in person at the Exhibition Center Nuremberg. NürnbergMesse has developed a viable hygiene concept together with the Bavarian State Government and the Bavarian exhibition companies, which you can read about on this page. This is based on the safety and hygiene rules for infection control specified in the framework concept of the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs for conferences, congresses and comparable events.
At a glance: How safe conventions and congresses succeed in Nuremberg:
- Ensuring a safe distance of 1.5 meters
- Obligatory masks indoors: Medical face mask for persons 6 years and older. Exception: At fixed seating or standing places, provided that a minimum distance of 1.5 m to other persons is reliably ensured. This also includes the conference and congress seating adapted by NürnbergMesse.
- No mask obligation outdoors: Exception: Entrance and meeting areas where a so-called bottleneck situations could occur and the minimum distance of 1.5 m cannot be reliably maintained as a result.
- Access for vaccinated, recovered and tested persons with appropriate proof only
- Contact tracing of all participants
- Catering: In accordance with the Bavarian Hospitality Hygiene Concept
We have compiled current entry regulations for your convention and congress visit for you here: www.nuernbergmesse.de/en/entry-requirements

We will stay tuned for you – our customers – and keep you continuously informed about the applicable regulations.
1. Safe together
The 3G* concept stipulates a safety distance of 1.5 metres between people in all areas on the exhibition grounds. For 3G+ and 2G, the distance requirement does not apply.
We enable participants to maintain the required distance by installing planning measures, such as wider aisles, revised entrance areas and increased space.
The seating in forums and conference rooms also takes into account the respective distance regulations. The digital guidance system, floor markings and notices indicate compliance with the rules
- 3G: Visitor entry for vaccinated, recovered or tested (antigen or PCR test) persons.
- 3G+: Visitor entry for vaccinated, recovered or PCR tested persons.
- 2G: Visitor entry vaccinated or recovered persons.
Indoors, medical face masks are required for persons 6 years of age and older.
Exception: Masks may be removed at fixed seating or standing places, provided that a minimum distance of 1.5 m to other persons is reliably ensured or a hygiene protection wall is set up between the persons. This also includes the conference and congress seating adapted by NürnbergMesse.
Masks are not required outdoors.
Exception: Entrance and meeting areas where a so-called bottleneck situations could occur and the minimum distance of 1.5 m cannot be reliably maintained as a result.
If you forget or lose your mask, a supply of standardised face coverings is available at central locations on the exhibition grounds.
We strongly recommend frequent and thorough hand washing. Hand washing and sanitizing facilities designed with social distancing in mind are available for you.
We kindly ask you to follow the usual etiquette regarding sneezing and coughing.
Only visit the NürnbergMesse exhibition grounds if you are in good health.

NürnbergMesse has optimized its powerful ventilation systems in accordance with the recommendations of the relevant industry associations. The ventilation systems run with a significantly increased proportion of external air of up to 100 percent and a longer operating time. In this way they actively contribute to reducing the risk of infection. The air exchange rate (air exchange per hour) is at least 6 in the halls and at least 10 in the conference rooms, which means that there is a complete exchange of room air about every five minutes. Events in the Nuremberg Exhibition Center thus have an open air quality.
The exhaust air ducts are located on the roof of the halls and thus not in the immediate vicinity of outdoor areas with public traffic (such as parking lots). They are arranged in such a way that the exhaust air escapes into the environment and cannot mix with the supply air.
Before being supplied into the halls or conference rooms, outdoor air is filtered. In doing so, germs and bacteria are removed. Also due to the filtration no droplets which could contain corona viruses are transported into the rooms. According to current knowledge, the transmission of corona viruses via ventilation or air conditioning systems can be virtually ruled out in this mode of operation. (Source: FGK e.V.)
Please use the option to pay contactless.
Our gastronomy service partner Lehrieder has created a comprehensive concept for gastronomy that meets the legal requirements as well as the overarching rules of Bavarian gastronomy. All other caterers working at the fair are also obliged to comply with the requirements of the hygiene concept.
Qualified medical care is available on site at all times. The medical service is always present at events. Medical emergencies are treated directly on site. If necessary, they are supported by the public emergency service.
