EHPS congress participation

When Exhibition Centre Nuremberg welcomes industry professionals to the two-day European Heat Pump Summit on 24 and 25 October 2023, the regulations resulting from the energy transition, and sustainable heat pumps, will be among the topics on the agenda. Participants from all over Europe can not only expand their knowledge in the 39 presentations by high-calibre industry specialists but will also enjoy additional opportunities for inspiration and knowledge-sharing in the accompanying Foyer Expo, where 31 companies will showcase their products and solutions to meet the latest heat pump trends. To intensify the dialogue among all participants, and provide additional scope for networking and discussions, there will be a get-together on the evening of the first day of the congress.

“The European Heat Pump Summit is one of the most important events for heat pump experts in Europe and worldwide. We are delighted to be able to again offer the international heat pump community a platform to collaborate on preparing for the current challenges arising from hotly debated political and social topics like the energy transition. Interest has been so huge that the venue is already fully booked. However, anyone still wanting to take part in the summit is welcome to access it as a live stream so as not to miss any of the interesting presentations,” says Elke Harreiß, Exhibition Director European Heat Pump Summit at NürnbergMesse.

Here are the highlights: Congress topics 2023

The five main thematic streams at the European Heat Pump Summit are the political map of the European Union and the United Kingdom; market developments and the challenges emanating from EU and UK action plans; the development of components and systems; applications for households, IoT and AI; and industrial and high-temperature heat pumps and their uses.

As a result, the congress offers an easy-to-navigate structure and ensures that every participant will find presentations to suit their individual needs. The internationally renowned speakers include representatives of component manufacturers, R&D institutions, and the testing centres of universities and research establishments. Among other things, they will present the comprehensive results of recent field measurements.

The talks will also explore current EU and UK action plans like “Green Deal”, “REPower”, “Leading the Way to Net Zero” etc. Other highlights include the use of IoT-compatible products and services, the development of high-temperature heat pumps, and the importance of sustainability in the development of components and systems.

Foyer Expo Exhibitors present their latest products and solutions

For even more practical context, we recommend a visit to the accompanying Foyer Expo, where 31 well-known component and heat pump manufacturers and German and international associations and institutions will present their latest products and solutions to meet current trends and challenges. This is an ideal opportunity for participants to chat with one another and with the experts on hand and get answers to their individual questions.

Get-together offers the perfect finale to a successful congress day

At the end of the first day of the congress, all participants are invited to enjoy more exchanges in a casual atmosphere. The congress ticket includes the get-together on Tuesday 24 October 2023 from 18:10-21:00 at Mitte Entrance, NCC Mitte. Look forward to a Franconian beer garden atmosphere and relaxed networking.
