How can I add new/additional products to my online profile or edit existing ones?

Your online profile is your digital business card – both onsite and online. In addition to company information, your products should be presented as well. Why?
With the SelfService Tool, you can create, maintain, and publish product profiles at any time. Present your highlights – clear, up-to-date, and with compelling visuals!

Your products are the stars of your exhibition appearance – so showcase them to potential customers even before the event begins.

What makes a strong product profile?

Enter all relevant product information
Highlight new products
Use KeyFacts to communicate product USPs
Upload product images and link a product video
Provide downloadable PDFs with product information
Add product experts for direct contact

Some content is language-dependent. We recommend entering it in both German and English – watch out for the corresponding labels in the tool.

Step-by-step guide to create a new product profile

On the start page, click the button "Product Profiles".
In the overview, you can:
- create a new product profile, or
- edit an existing product profile.

Click the plus icon or the empty tile to create a new product profile.
Enter all relevant information – e.g., name, description, key facts.
Upload appealing product images and more information.

The product profile is divided into several sections accessible via tabs:
Product Description, Images, Downloads, Experts

Want to show not only a great product but also the right contact person? Use the "Product Expert" function!

Prerequisite: The desired expert must already be listed as an employee in the company profile.

Open the "Product Expert" tab in the product profile.
First, select the appropriate company profile where the expert is registered.
Select the employee to assign them as a product expert for this product.

Your new product profile won’t appear online automatically – to make it visible in your online profile, you need to select and assign it accordingly:

Select the exhibition for which you want to configure your online profile.
Find the product profile you want to display online and select it.
Make sure to select suitable product groups – only then will your product be properly categorized and found.
Click "Save" to apply all changes.

Note: Without product groups, the profile cannot be published. So be sure to select them!

Step-by-step guide to edit an existing product profile

On the start page, click the button "Product Profiles".
In the overview, you can:
- create a new product profile, or
- edit an existing product profile.

Click on the product profile in the overview, or use the “Edit profile” icon.
Navigate through the different sections/tabs such as Product description, Images, Downloads, and Product expert to edit or update the relevant information.
Click “Save” to apply your changes.

Assigning your product to the right product groups and industries is essential – these categories are visible as filters on the exhibition website and help potential customers find your product more easily.

Select the exhibition for which you want to configure your online profile.
Open the overlay to select or update the product groups for your product profile.
Click “Save” to confirm the changes.
